At the confluence of Min River, Jinsha River and Yangtze River, lies the first city on Yangtze River - Yibin. The city is surrounded by numerous mountains and clear waters, and famous for its rich natural resources of fragrances. Its local people had a longstanding practice of distilling sassafras oil, which was used in religious and other symbolic ceremonies because they believed its aroma could drive away evil spirits and bring them good fortune.

Established in 1980, Yibin Perfumery was the first manufacturer in China to apply the ozonization method to produce Heliotropin from sassafras oil. She became the first Chinese enterprise in the line of Heliotropin production to be certified by the ISO9002 Quality Assurance System in 1998.

Yibin Perfumery has well funded research capabilities, advanced equipment for production and inspection, and experienced perfumers to ensure stability in the quality of her products. Her annual output are 250 tons of Heliotropin, 500 tons of Sassafras Oil, 300 tons of Eucalyptus Oil Ex-Camphor and approximately 80 tons of Litsea Cubeba Oil.

Based on stable quality and satisfactory services, Yibin Perfumery has earned good reputation domestically and abroad. Over 90% of her products are exported to some 30 countries and regions, including Europe, America, Japan and Southeast Asia. She had a market share of over 25% in China's export of Heliotropin in 2000.
